Stepping forward, Uran appeared just a little ways off to his
left.
“Uran!”
He couldn’t tell if it was her, just a projection of a memory or
feeling of hers, or if the projection could see him standing
there.
This Uran was sheepish, arms behind her back, and she made
direct eye-contact with him. “You know, Astro,” she said, “I
don’t really hate you or robots.”
“Uran?”
“It’s just that, I haven’t been able to trust robots since my
mom was killed.”
She brought her arms down to her sides, now directly facing
him, “Maybe,” pausing, “maybe I’m so annoying because I
want you to notice me? You’re the only one that can save me,
Astro, and I want to get along with you because, well, you’re
the only brother I have.”
Reaching for her, “Uran!”
But her image faded away.

Ah, this is beautiful! I love the way you designed the background! How did you make the sun rays? Their outfits are cute, too.

I'll have to read the fan fiction, it sounds very interesting! :3

Thanks ;> the lower suns rays were strips of white I made with the pen tool, Gaussian blurred at about 200%. Then I used a mask and ran black-to-white gradient down the mask so the rays were more prominent as they went down. The suns rays at the top are from the lighting effects. Lens flare I believe. I desaturated it and used a mask with gradients and airbrushing to remove what I didn't want to show.

I hope you will read the fic ;3 I'm writing chapter 10 of The Purpose right now and someone asked me if I was going to do an audio version of the books. Well, I would like to. ;> you ever done voice acting?

Want to try? I'm going to make my fan novels into audio dramas. There's no preference about pre-existing voices to match from any of the Astro Boy Anime.

The poses are beyond adorable. Uran looks so happy, it shows in her clothes and especially her expression! Astro is my favorite part though! The way you drew him, looking the other way...

Omg this pic took me over a week. D: But I got to try sun light beam thingies ;D I'M SO PROUD OF THEM lol.
Sadly, there's no more wall space for posters in my room >.> .... so I keep getting my posters printed and I have the round poster containers that are err.. becoming full lol.
OMG NICOLE. I have this proof reader for my Astro fan novels and at first, he was really slow, but now he..HE LIKE EMAILS THE NEXT DAY AND IS LIKE 'OK I'M DONE WITH THIS ONE. GREAT STORY!!! SEND ME THE NEXT CHAPTER!'
I'm thinking, 'OMG he's catching up to my writing speed LOL'.
I'm almost done writing book 2!!! :F
