"Hi, Christina. I'm looking for someone to build my blog for me. I want a simple, but jazzy layout."

Here's where it went. Ok... aha, this client lady, she's fun, but she's also irking.

First, she wanted her own domain. I went hiking last MONTH (yes, this started last month) and since she didn't hear from me all day, she emailed me with "Sorry, but I've decided to use someone else. I didn't hear from you..." But later, she asked, "Can you design a top logo/banner for $50?" Sure, why not. Then the pea-head guy she'd been using told her, "Why use Typepad.com for your blogging? You should buy your own hosting and I'll build your blog for $2,000 to $3,000." Lol, so she then asked me for advice and I told her, "It's up to you. Buying hosting gives you complete freedom, but it's harder tom aintain as well if you don'yt know web coding. Typepad is the easier choice."

She chose the hosting, bought Bluehost and a domain and I got down to it. Two weeks later, I'd installed a blogging engine and she and I were working on her image gallery...

Last week... She wrote, "Hold on Christina. Don't be angry at me, but my blogging friends are telling me that Typepad is the way to go."

I simply wrote back, "I'm not mad, just amused."

So, I did all that work and she ended up deleting her Bluehost account, but kept her domain. When she registered for Typepad again, I edited a whole bunch of CSS to impliment the same design, which screwed up like crap, but it SHOULD look fine now... and I used domain mapping to mask her typepad subdomain with her domain.

I hope I'm finally done and that I can sit back, read her posts occasionally, and snicker. Hey, I'm not mad. Why should I be? I got $$$...
